This versatile, medium-body red wine has an intense color and great charm
with hints of blackberry and pepper. It is especially delicious with chicken,
turkey and with soft cheeses.
"Coteaux" are hillside vineyards. "Coteaux du Languedoc" has
a very long history dating back to the Romans 2,000 years ago! Today it’s one of the most important appellations
in France. Enjoy healthy, organic, tasty wine from this historic winegrowing region!
Bordeaux is synonymous for superb red wines but Entre-Deux-Mers (meaning between two seas, actually two rivers, the Dordogne and the Garonne) is an interesting exception: only white wines can be made there, out of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes. The result can be like this superbly balanced white: aromatic and refreshing with a style and elegance that betray its noble origins!
The region lying North of Venice produces very pleasant and distinctive white wines notably Pinot Grigio. With a process different from the Champagne method vintners also create a variety of sparkling wines with different levels of pressure in the bottle. Prosecco is unpretentious but has remarkable features: try this light pressure sparkling at an aperitif and you'll see everyone coming back for more! Charming by itself it is also perfect with appetizers.
