Château Bousquette, Véronique's family's vineyard is grown in a piney, herbaceous terroir that is moderated by the cooling breezes from the sea, giving the grapes a long, even growing season. Château Véronique itself is a dry, medium-bodied wine with a jammy fruit character of cherry, plum and blackberry complemented by aromas of straw and oak. It is an
AOC -- Coteaux du Languedoc.
Château Véronique is comprised of
40% Carignane grapes, 40% Grenache grapes, and 20% Syrah grapes which are all 100% third party certified organically grown by ECOCERT.
Alcohol Content: 12.5%, Ages 3 to 5 years... best with food: hearty meats, roasts, lambs or robust cheeses.
If you knew nothing of Spanish wines before you tried this wonderful Rioja from Noemus, you'd be given a more than fair take on Spanish wine as a whole... Spain is very well represented in our portfolio through this unpretentious but very balanced Rioja. The vivacious wild berry aroma lives up to its promise, leading into a sweet red cherry flavor perked up by crisp acidity. This wine is a DOC Rioja.
This wine is comprised of %60 Tempranillo grapes, 20% Garnacha grapes and 20% Mazuelo grapes... they are all 100% third party certified organically grown by ECCYSA.
Rioja in general, and particularly with the Navarrsotillo Noemus pair perfectly with lamb chops from the pan or hot off the grill! Rioja's distinctive character and sometimes peppery zest and tanginess can also bring great flavor from rich cuts of meat, Spanish or Mexican soups (and Paella) and ribs.
Alcohol Content: 14%, Ages 3 to 4 years.
The La Marouette varietals are produced on an organic vineyard in the Languedoc region in the South of France. These wines are both elegant and affordable organically grown wines with a true blend between French and New World styles. This syrah is a particularly enjoyable wine. It's medium body and nose of earthy, raspberry aromatics is followed with a splashing of plum, black cherry and raspberry flavors. A very fruit-forward syrah for this region.
This wine is made of 100% syrah grapes that are third party certified organically grown by ECOCERT. This wine pairs well with roasts and medium body meat dishes such as chili, sausage, ribs, flank steak or mexican food (carne asada or carnitas.)
Alcohol Content: 12.5%, Ages 1 to 3 years.
